True Friend

All of us crave to be loved.

Love is a two way traffic.

To be loved you should love.

DEFINITION OF A FRIEND

"Love is patient; love is kind;

love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.

It does not insist on its own way;

it is not irritable or resentful;

it does not rejoice in wrong doing,

but rejoices in the truth.

It bears all things,

believes all things,

endures all things."

(1Cor 13:4-7)

Now, change the words "LOVE" and "IT" into "A FRIEND" and read it again.

A true friend must pass the criteria that are written above.

VIRTUE PREREQUISITES VIRTUE

Perfecting a true friendship requires a lifetime journey.

It also requires a lot of virtues (i.e. Patience, Humility, etc...) because Friendship itself is also a virtue.

HOW TO HAVE A TRUE FRIEND?

Love is a two way traffic so as to friendship.

If one wishes to have a true friend he/she must be a true friend also.

This reciprocity is not a demand rather it is the vital ingredient of a true friendship.
