Innocent Misery

We are now in the era of advanced technology and it is still on its way for breakthroughs.

How come that the face of poverty is still the same and sometimes much worse.

Yesterday, while waiting for the bus to arrive I saw this heartbreaking sight just right beside me.
They eat in the sidewalk were lot of people pass by.
I did not felt that I am fortunate enough to have a house to live and food to eat.
I felt miserable... I don't know.

Old Friends, Good Friends

Me and my friends went to Tarlac City to apply for a job in a factory. While traveling I saw my old high school friend. It is a nice incident because we never have met since third year high school. We talked about a lot of things. What happened after nine years, how's life, etc... we talked just like the old times. Unfortunately, we do not have much of the luxury time to chat so I got his number and hope to see again.

On the other hand, me and my friends had also an unfortunate luck this day because the employment agency is not hiring. So we decided to walk and look for a coffee shop to have our breakfast.

In spite of what happened, I still had a good day. First, I have met my old friend which I never have met for almost a decade. Second, me and my friends had an opportunity to have a moment of bonding which we never had for a long time because I am in the seminary before.

It was a moment of renewal.

I did not found a job

but I found my friends.
